For Posterity: First Book Sold!

You know how small shops sometimes have a dollar bill or other currency framed on the wall behind the counter? It’s a tradition to do that with the first bill someone uses to buy something on opening day. Maybe it’s good luck?

In the world of electronic publishing, no paper money changes hands, but that’s no reason to miss out on the good luck. Besides, Amazon provides Kindle authors with graphs of their sales from day-to-day, and I “just happened” to capture a screen shot of my first book sale.

So here it is, for posterity’s sake! This is what it looks like when you sell your first Kindle book:
